Windows 10 OneNote 2013 screen clipping not working

I recently bought a new computer with Windows 10, and installed Office 2013 (with OneNote 2013). Windows 10 is updated to today, with Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3156421) installed.

I used the Screen Clipping all the time (50 or more times a day) in Win 7 with Office 2010. Now Windows - S opens Cortana.

I added the ScreenClip app that sits in the menu, but that requires that I activate it (Win+N) and then hit S to take a screenshot. Plus, any dropdowns that I have open that I want to take a screenshot of disappear using this method. Of course, with the old Windows+S on Windows 7, that never happened.

I have spent literally days searching for the answer to getting a Windows+somekey shortcut to work again. My current registry hack is below and attached - it looks just like one found in the Microsoft forum and elsewhere. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. Or even a Windows+Shift+somekey. No luck.

I would really appreciate any assistance. Even more, I would appreciate Microsoft getting this whole thing straightened out! In the meantime, thanks in advance for any assistance.

Update. I just rebooted (again), and now it seems to be working perfectly. Windows+Y, and I can screenshot dropdown menus again. YAY!

Hopefully it will stick and continue to work. Thanks to everyone who has posted solutions to this in the various forums. Much appreciated.

Congrats. Isn't it nice to have the problem solved by your own hard work ?

It is! And my own hard work was persistence in reading everything I could find on the issue! Standing on the shoulders of those who have gone before!

Thanks again to everyone who posts questions and solutions in a way that typical computer users can implement,
