    .NET Framework 3.5 Not installing

.NET Framework 3.5 won't install! It just gives me this error message:

Windows couldn't find the required files to complete the requested changes. Make sure you're connect to Internet, and try again.
    Error code: 0x800F081F

Any suggestions? Please help me soon!

I posted this earlier after 14342 came out. See if this gets you there. If you have questions or need help, please post back. TC

    So do I do
    DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:e:\sources\sxs
    in an admin cmd prompt?

Drive 'E' is where Windows 10 installed.

Yes, at admin cmd. The "e" above refers to the drive letter assigned by windows when you mount the ISO for build 14342, not where windows is installed. Do you have the ISO? Do you still have the $BT~ folder from the build update in the root drive C? Please let me know these two things. It's fairly simple, but I need to know a few things first.

Can you tell me where the $BT folder is?

And what do you mean by "mounting" the ISO?

And I'm not sure where exactly the ISO is... (that might be a problem)

Pdragon, let's back up a little and get some basic info. What version of Windows are you running? Hold the Windows key down and press R. In the box, type WINVER and press enter. Please post a screenshot of that display. I'll wait.....

pdragon... You are on the "current" public build of Windows Home. It looks like you have not done any cumulative updates and are running as a local account, not an MS account. The most current build is 10586.318. You have 10586.0. How long have you had this installed and where did you get the installation media?
