    Calendar & Mail keeps crashing

    Hi,
The native win10 app is crashing.
I removed it using powershell and reinstalled it via Store. Whenever I get to the menu of add accounts, it's simply closing down.
    Both Mail & Calendar.

That's the event viewer log when they crash.

Appreciate any help on the matter.

I don't have a answer to your problem just a suggestion. I use a mail program called eM Client. I use it for my email and calendar. There is a free version and a paid version. It was recommended to me by BunnyJ (Jeff) and I'm very happy with it.

Have you ran a SFC /Scannow to see if that will fix It

You will need to do it in Command Prompt (Admin)
    Go start button
    Right click
Click what I have posted above
It will take sometime to do

Hi, have you done anything to try to 'improve' Win 10's privacy -changing settings e.g. Privacy settings, using a free utility to block some Win 10 'dial home' telemetry?

If you look at e.g. Settings, Privacy, General, do you see a message in red letters?

You can also try uninstalling these, then downloading them from the store:
Solved Mail and Calendar app won't launch - Windows 10 Forums

    This worked in that instance.

Please also feel free to use the search box above e.g.
    mail and calendar crash
    - a number of threads where you may find solutions.

Yes I have these red letters.
I've reverted setting in group policy and have no restriction on windows telemetry.

"Step 1: Launch Start Menu by hitting the Windows Key. Type in gpedit.msc and right-click the app from the search results. Choose Run as Administrator from the context menu.Step 2: In the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc), go to Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Data Collection and Preview Builds.
Step 3: Find the Allow Telemetry item and double-click it to edit the policies.
Step 4: Change the setting to Enabled. Change the drop-down menu entry to 3-Full and click Apply.
Step 5: Now open the item again and change its Setting to Not configured and hit the Save button."

    Still, no luck.

Hi, not sure if you mean you haven't succeeded in removing 'Some settings...' - which may or may not be relevant to the problem with those apps, but is one thing to eliminate - or still no luck with the apps.

If you still have the message, try downloading
    Spybot Antibeacon (free).
If there are green bars present, restrictions are applied. Click Undo.

    You can try this:
Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter - Run in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

    and this:
    Apps - Reinstall and Re-register in Windows 8 and 10 - Windows 10 Forums

    ====================================================================
Now, what will most likely fix this is an in-place upgrade repair install; if you want to make progress, this is relatively painless.. and definitely worth knowing. Just takes a little while (much faster if you have a SSD).

Precede it with this in case sthg has happened to your file system:

Windows key + X, click command prompt (admin)
    chkdsk C: /F
Make sure the result is clear or fixed.

An In-place upgrade repair install will fix many things, but not those where the settings are not changed by the procedure.

For this you need an installation medium with the same base build as you have installed.

Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade - Windows 10 Forums

This will refresh Windows, after the manner of a Windows installation.
    - all/most associations will be unchanged
    - all your programs will be left installed
    - you will lose any custom fonts
    - you will lose any customised system icons
    - you may need to re-establish your Wi-Fi connection
    - you will need to redo Windows updates subsequent to the build you have used for the repair install
    - Windows.old will be created
    - system restore will be turned off- you should turn it on again and I recommend you manually schedule a daily restore point.
    - you will need to redo any language downloads including the display language if you changed that)
    - inactive title bar colouring (if used) will be reset to default
This is one of the better features of Win10: as each major build comes out, that's your updated reference build, and as updates are mostly cumulative, there will be few to do.

    Recommendation:
Before you perform this major repair procedure, do create a disk image.

Please consider using disk imaging regularly. It's a brilliant way to
    - preserve your system (and your sanity)
    - back up your data
    - restore your system to a previously working state in a relatively short time

Recommended: Macrium Reflect or Aomei Backupper (free) + their boot disk/device + large enough external storage medium.

    ok this escalating.
I've finished in place upgrade with all my drives disconnected.

    mail and calendar are working.
As soon as I connect my D drive, and boot PC, Windows creates WPSYNC or similar name of a folder in my D drive.

I delete this drive and then it removes my mail account settings.
I use powershell to remove bloatware like 3D builder but then windows decides to restore it on my D drive again.

Where can I set in registry to make windows stop writing Store apps on my D drive and stop force restore uninstaller bloatware like 3D builder??

i had enough of this crap reappearing on my D drive.

Have you ever done anything like this?
Apps Save Location - Change in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

I don't have a folder called wpsync anywhere.. can you give the exact name?

It's really not worth trying to block or stop the universal apps. If you don't use them, just forget them.
Shouldn't appear on D: by default.

I just don't want windows to reinstall apps that I have removed.

I'll post soon the name of the folder.
It starts with WP, as if windows phone. usually should be hidden in program files, but in my case it's in D drive.

Ok, the folder name is WpSystem
    Windows keeps creating it.
In addition, my Mail & calendar is screwed again when I try to add an account I get an error: we're sorry but we weren't able to do that 0x8004010f
