Microsoft Office
I am still in the dark ages using Microsoft Office 2013. If I upgrade to a newer version, do I have to use the cloud to store everything or can I store it on my own NAS?

Love the signature Kari. I totally agree. Thanks for the response. I guess what worries me is the monthly fee. Is that only if you use the cloud storage?
I do not understand your question? If you buy a retail version of Office, there is no monthly fee. If you subscribe to Office365, there is a monthly or yearly fee. Subscription always includes the latest version of Office desktop applications, at the moment Office 2016.
Why do you wand to upgrade to 2016? I still run office XP and I am not missing anything, as far as I can tell

It's not 2016 I have in mind. A few of the businesses I deal with are using 2010 and there are a few changes in formatting of which they take advantage. I would like to be up to speed with them.
Thanks, Kari. You have cleared up a misconception of mine.
you can store most anything anywhere that's available..
- Cyberlink has a cloud facility as well..
Thanks to all for the suggestions. As for the storage, I think my NAS is quite sufficient.
