    iexplorer.exe crash with EMET5.2 on 10041


    After upgrading to 10041 IE 11 crashes on opening. Event ID 1000 Application error is seen in event viewer.

    Turning off EAF in EMET for iexplorer.exe allows it to open correctly.
    iexplorer.exe crash with EMET5.2 on 10041-emet.png

    This worked fine on 9926. Is this working for anyone else?

    Yup. I don't even know what the EAF setting in EMET is for or what it means. I'll download the manual and see if I can make any sense of it.

    Did a clean install and same issue. Are you running EMET 5.2 version?
