Addition to last post: You can then only access it through crashing the boot process or using your F# key or ESC.

macrium won't let you create a boot menu with the files on a drive other than C, and will also not let you make a boot disk on an internal hard drive - only USB or CD.
True. However, you can manually create a bootable Macrium Rescue on another internal/external drive.
FYI: Setup Macrium Rescue to boot from an Internal/External USB HD/SSD - Windows 10 Forums

If you are talking about backup images and not a macrium boot image - yes. But you still need a macrium boot disc/USB. If you are talking about the macrium boot image, macrium won't let you create a boot menu with the files on a drive other than C, and will also not let you make a boot disk on an internal hard drive - only USB or CD.
Sorry but I did many times using Macrium. It will however let you image your C:\ drive to another internal drive.

Maybe I misunderstood/ misread, you're talking "Drive" not "Partition" right?
Of course I have the USB too if I need to redeploy to a new disk.
Being that(like most here in the forums know) I like theming and testing different 3rd party patchers, I have used the boot menu version a lot, after BSOD's and BsWc(Black screen White cursor). I have even had to crash the boot cycle 3 times to get into the UEFI recovery environment once and chose MR's recovery environment.
Note: I am not arguing, I am learning.
Interesting Cliff as mine right now is setup a lot different. My time to display recovery options is not clicked on at all. and under system failure my "automatically restart" IS clicked on. This is the way windows set it up as I have not changed anything in their yet. Was wondering why I never saw any recovery options....

I used ATI about 9 years ago and I could never figure out their claim that you can restore windows form with windows without a boot.

Ok and I ran Win7 for around 5 years myself.....on 2 computers. But never needed the recovery feature on 7 as it was pretty much rock solid for me. plus I was not retired then, and was putting in some long hours back then. didn't mess with the computer as much as I have lately. But NOW I am learning more and more......still not changing nut'n yet thou.
