    uninstallers

    hello
I was using Revo and Iobit but someone just told me about Geek uninstaller. I am hesitant to switch b/c I have heard nothing about its reliability.
Does anyone have a first hand opinion?
    Thank you

Geek uninstaller is good one, comparable to Wise Uninstaller I use, those 2 are the only free ones with 64-bit support.

    Are the free versions effective?

Revo works very good for me. Why do you want to switch?

Because it does not support both 32 and 64 bit.

    See post #2.

Accordings to reviews and my testing, better than free version of Revo/Iobit, but still not perfect, they can leave leftovers.

You will need a realtime monitoring, like GeekInstaller Pro has, but I did not buy it, so do not know, how effective it is.

    See post #2.
64-bit OS will run ALMOST all 32-bit programs.

I have Revo installed in my 64-bit Win 10 Home and it works perfectly.
In fact only about 2 months ago I used it to removed Chrome and all its remnants from the registry.

I also have it installed in my 32-bit Win 10 Pro Insider preview.

**** adding .................. my comment is referred to Revo free edition, not the Pro version.*****

I am sure it does, but it will not uninstall 64-bit software.

I have chosen Wise and it is fine but lists all the MS downloads which I would like to avoid..

Well, it lists MS software like Visual C++ or Silverlight, which are basically standalone software, not included in updates.
