    My guess is: since Photoshop old (ver. 7) the issue of compatibility with windows 10.

    I have always had good success with another software, using the newest now Corel Paintshop Pro X8

    Try saving your edited file to a different location such as your desktop and see if it works. Also you may try saving in a different format to see if it makes any difference.

    Changing location and different format does not work, still given error

    Frustrating I'm sure. One thing I have done with a different software that wouldn't run properly from the program files folder on Win8 was to completely uninstall with revo then install to the root of the c drive (or another partition) The software then worked fine.
