    Ccleaner updates

I saw where a new version of C Cleaner has been released. My C Cleaner (free version) is set to automatically check for updates. Will I be updated to the current version, or do I need to download the new version?

If you have it set to auto check it will prompt you to update, which takes you to the Piriform site. If not auto, click bottom right corner "check for updates" and it will take you to the site. Either way, you have to go to the site (gives them a chance to "encourage" you to get the paid version). You will have to download it and install it. It will not change your settings. Hope that helps. TC

Thanks...appreciated. Does the new version include new features, or just improvements, fixes, etc?

Usually just small changes, you could use the same version like forever, it would still work.

The first 2 in changes to 5.15 are important. As browsers update versions and add/delete/change things, apps like CCleaner need to adjust. That's what they did.
