Localhost not working in windows 10

I have used Dreamweavin all its versions except CC and apache server in all versions of windows for the last 18 years. In windows 10, when I attempt to access localhost, all I get is a blank page. In every other version of windows, typing http://localhost/ brings up a screen for apache. Apache is running on my system using port 8080 and 443. However Localhost is not.
As Dreamweaver is more important to me than windows 10, I will have to revert back to my previous version of windows (8.1 or 7 - both worked fine) if I cannot solve this problem. Can anyone help?

Found a solution. Go to programs and features /turn windows programs on or off and remove Internet information services, and Internet Information Services hostable web core. Config apache to port 80 and that fixes localhost after a re-boot. Takes a while to make the changes.
Set your Dreamweaver to use a temporary file to preview its pages and all seems to be fine.
It is possible that some other services may not function, but its horses for courses.
Skype may not work after making these changes.

You should of used the port number with localhost

    EG:
    http://localhost:8080
    127.0.0.1:8080

Unfortunately that would not work on either of my computers.
