Office 2016 (32 bit) next to Office 2013 (64 bit)

    hi guys,

is it possible to install Office 2016 32 bit next to Office 2013 (64 bit)?

I hate reinstalling Office 2013 if the 2016 version is not good enough.

Have to many rules that i have to recreate every time, also to many mails i need to redirect to the junk mail.

    thanks

    No.

While possible it is not recommended to install multiple versions of Office on the same computer. But they both must be the same bits. The only way this could be done is to install one on a virtual machine.

Be aware that Microsoft generally recommends using the 32 bit version of Office, even on a 64 bit OS. Use the 64 bit version only if needed. The 32 bit version has better compatibility with third party extensions, most of which are 32 bit only.

True Miller and Office 32 bit is faster then the 64 bit version also, that's why i asked for the 32 bit version.

    Hi there

I think that info was given out when 64 bit systems were still quite new -- I don't think there's any problem now with the 64 bit versions. ONE CAVEAT though --if you are using a load of say EXCEL addins such as from Stock Trading programs / other charting software these addins probably won't work on the 64 bit versions so contact the people you got the addins from before switching to the 64 bit version.

OUTLOOK 2013 also has a nasty habit of LOSING mail if you are using IMAP and you want to copy to a LOCAL folder !!!!

    Cheers

    Office is out of space

Hi, I am running Office 2016 32 bit and have found that the excel version limits virtual memory to 2 GIG. I am exceeding that in my work. I want to upgrade to the 64 Bit version which has a limit in Terabytes. What is my liability in upgrading to the 64 bit version. I know I need to uninstall 2016 32 bit but what does that do to my outlook? Do I lose all my email addresses ( I have 7 addresses coming through Outlook)?
