    when i click my icons (windows mail, chrome, w/e) they don't open......i have to roll on them and click above - wt....? this happened overnight recently & i quite annoying - anyone know where to fix?

    Since it is just recently, system restore should fix it.
    Pick a date you did not have this problem as your restore point.

    Another suggestion will be to rebuild icon cache.
