Another option to get gadgets on Windows 10 is to use the Rainmeter tool , and then load the Gadgets skin . This Rainmeter Gadgets skin provides many of the same gadgets (and similar look and feel) that were available via AddGadgets.com .
Is there any skin equivalent to netmeter gadget which shows total net usage. I sawin built rainmeter has network shows only speed of net not net used.

In browsing the Rainmeter DeviantArt gallery , I found some skins that have Network meters that show total net usage. I suspect there are others as well...

I installed Windows 10 this past Saturday, and no problem continuing to use my 8 gadget pack on my system, and my windows 10 is up to date.
I am sure my gadget pack is an older version as well, as I have not grabbed any new versions since installing it originally in my Windows 8 install a couple of years ago.

I just did the update a few hours ago on this machine and I am using version 14 and I run 4 gadgets all the time. After update all are loaded and working as normal for me. I do also run ShutUp10 so I update when I choose to so I can wait to see if there are any reported update issues before I do them myself.

We've had this discussion on your alternative before. It in no way meets my needs.

    UPDATE 1/5/2016:
Microsoft just posted an update for Flash (Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3133431)) that fixed the issue. The 8Gadgets are back, alive and well!

Good to hear. Yeah I saw that update, installed and all still ok. I've been lucky enough to dodge the issue but admittedly I watch that gadget cpu monitor like a hawk since this thread began!!!
