    Snipping Tool mysteries

Can not find where the default save is in Snipping tool ?...and there is no response when I try to use save as or save to a different default location...also can not find any option to save as jpg - png etc

Clicking save does nothing...the only time I have an options is if I close the session then it asked me whether I want to save the clip...no choice as to what extension or what location to save to...

Snipping tool works...but have no idea what it is saving (format) or where it's saving to ?

There is no response to save as or save to options...it just is saving the snippets when I close the app somewhere

Is there a way to 'activate' the options so I can save as picture.?? or save to options ?

    Thanks....TiminAz

If you have setup OneDrive it will probably be saving it to the Picture Folders there and the default format is .png I'm not sure if you can change that to jpeg or gif. If you have not setup OneDrive I'm pretty sure it will go to your Pictures Folder. If you do end up getting it to save to a location of your choice it will remember that choice until you use something like CCleaner
