Installing and Accessing Apps from the store

I have been trying to install a few Apps from the Store. I installed an App, clicked on it in the menu, and for one second it flashes and the menu disappears. I have checked my account and that's good, checked settings and they look good, but the installed App won't access. Am I doing anything wrong? Thanks for any help. :)

Make sure that the time zone, date and time are set correctly as this can cause sync issues. Then try this from the tutorial forum. Store Cache - Clear and Reset in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums . See if it helps.

JohnC: Thanks for the help, but the timezone and date are good so I reset the cache, and still have the problem.

You might have already tried this: uninstall the app from Settings > System >Apps and Features and then reinstall from the store.

JohnC: Thanks for responding. I uninstalled the apps I tried to install as you suggest, and tried to install one of them again. As before, it says Open where upon I click open, and the app flashes for one second and the menu disappears followed by looking at my desktop. This is going to be some stupid fix I can feel it, but I'm stumped right now. Do you or any one else have anything else I might try?

JohnC: I ran the diagnostic trouble shooter you sent and it reports couldn't identify problems.

Update: I run Raxco Instant Recovery which I have 2 WIN10 snapshots on it. On A hunch I booted to the other snapshot of WIN10 to see if the apps loaded there. On this snapshot the apps that came with WIN10 with the exception of one, work. The problem with this snapshot is the Store won't load. If you click it it disappears. I did all the things suggested earlier. I found it in the Apps and Features but I can't re-install it because where would I do that. I clicked WIN+R and typed wsreset.exe and clicked OK, but a window appeared saying it couldn't do it. I thought staying on the current snapshot with the problem different, might offer a different solution. I can always go back to the original snapshot if need be. What do you or someone else think? Thanks again for your help.

It was shared with me on Wilder's Security forum, that when I finally get the 1511 upgrade in December, the quirk I am experiencing should right itself. I thought Id share this on the WIN10 forum.
