DirectX11 wont install. Im trying to upgrade from DX10
I want DX11 installed on my pc

perhaps your computer cannot use direct X 11 and anyhow if you are using Windows 10 you should have Direct X 12. I thought if I remember right Windows 8.1 computers should have direct X 11 all ready.
Windows 10 include DirectX 12, BUT: If your graphics card supports a lower DirectX version in hardware, then this is the version you see in DXDIAG report. I have a nVidia GeForce GT 620 and supports DirectX 11.2, so I see 11.2 In an older computer the card (GeForce 7300GS) supported only DirectX 9.0, so the report stated DirectX 9ex. So if your graphics card supports up to DirectX 10, the report will state DirectX 10. They did that in Windows 10 so as not to mislead people about their card's capabilities. In Windows 7, 8 and 8.1, no matter what card you have you would see DirectX 11, which of course is far from true for old hardware. In Windows Vista you would see DirectX 10 (with WDDM drivers).
