Open Windows Store, error 0x8000FFFF (windows 10)

In the last 2 months, I upgraded to Win10 Pro from Win7 Pro. It turned off during the first attempt of upgrading, so I turned it back on and it installed. However, once I set up my internet again, Windows Store, when opened, told me an error code (0x8000FFFF). I wrote in a bunch of Run and CMD commands, like wsreset.exe, net stop wuauserv, things like that. I also reset the cache and deleted all of the files in the SystemDistribution folder. Despite that, I still get the same error. Please help.

Hi AOZ1989, welcome to Ten Forums. This is from the tutorial forum. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/3...ws-8-10-a.html . You might have to uninstall and then reinstall, but try this first.

    Still Not Working

I just tried doing that, but I'm still getting the same error code in Windows Store. Anything else?

Try the SFC command. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2...dows-10-a.html .
This tutorial has a number of steps. Try running the SFC up to three times rebooting in between. Then move on to the DISM command if necessary.

You might want to try a repair install/in place upgrade to get everything working again. You can keep your programs and files. Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade - Windows 10 Forums .

Tried again and still not working. Would I be able to chat to Microsoft about this?

Any updates to this problem? I've tried everything except the in place upgrade. This is ridiculous, I can't even open the app store to download new apps and none of the solution posted do a thing. Seems others have had this issue too so why hasn't it been resolved.

no response! Is windows actually fixing any of these ridiculous problems, I feel like I've been scammed to update to this POS program. I'd pay anything to go back to XP pro when shit actually worked, this is a joke.

I have this exact same problem, but only one of my PCs, an older, former MS Vista laptop that was given a clean upgrade. It started when the Microsoft Store updated itself. I've tried all the above remedies, such as PowerShell commands, Store app resets, etc. but zero success. Any other suggestions?
