Installed 64 bit Office 2016 by Mistake - How to Change?

I downloaded and installed the 64 bit version of MS Office 2016 by mistake. It appears to be working, but if I run into problems, what would I need to do to install the 32 bit version instead?

Are you on a 64 Bit system? I suppose you are or it would not have installed. I use Office 2010 64 Bit and it works just fine. What problems are you having?

I also use Office 2010 64-bit on Win7 and Office 2013 64-bit on Win8.1 Upgraded to Win10, seems just fine. Office 2010 was the first to be available as either 32-bit or 64-bit.

No problems yet, but I noticed that MS recommends using 32 Bit due to possible compatibility issues with some apps and add-ons. Actually, my question is now OBE. I had installed Windows 10 just before Office 2016. Found out that Windows 10 is incompatible with software I use for work and therefore rolled back to Windows 7, which also removed Office 2016. I then reinstalled Office 2016 as 32 Bit.

Well I am glad that you got it sorted out. Good luck with it.
