    What office programs are you trying to use?
    What happens when you try to use it/them?
    Any error messages or notification messages?

    Go to Start/Search and type appwiz.cpl and press enter. In the Programs and Features, scroll down to Microsoft Office Suite. Right click it and choose Change, or Uninstall. A menu comes up and asks you if you want to add features to Office, or if you want to Repair Office or if you want to Remove Office. Try Repair first. If that doesn't work, and you have the Office Installation DVD then Remove Office. This will not remove any Office documents or Settings. After Restart Reinstall Office.
    If you don't have an Office disc, then you can download the free Open Office.

    Why not just uninstall and then reinstall them?

    I never had official version of Microsoft Office, I was actually using OFFICE STARTER, it doesn't give me the option to repair, just to uninstall, I think I might just uninstall all together and reinstall another word processing program..any suggestions?

    Open Office is a very good one,
    Does almost the same job as Office 365
    Found it better than Libra Office
    I used to use it when I had Windows 8.1 but since upgrade and now new laptop with Windows 10 I now use Office 365 and Office 2016
    You have to pay for the Office 365 but in my eyes worth every penny

    Hi there

    @hTconeM9user.
    Much better than OPEN OFFICE and much more compatible - even with Office 2016 is the FREE WPS office suite (also available on Android)

    WPS Office 2016 Free Edition

    The only drawback is there's no email client.

    Cheers
