Have you ever USED the re-deploy feature of Macrium Home ???

As that is the only difference.......

All Redeploy does is inject "Drivers" into the restored off-line image on the new PC..

    Using DISM /add-drivers

but of course you would have to had used DISM /get-drivers already from the new PC

Might not be your Internet Kyhi , I am trying to get the new Iso now and it says it will take 2 1/2 hours ! , it's like the dialup days :) best speed so far is 133kbs...

Macrium Pro and Minitool pro were crashing on me on the last iso (.125) , is that cos of drivers injected from your system do you think ?
I have only ever used Macrium Free , it does what I need it too ,at least so far.

    Thanks for all your work.

The included drivers are from MS Setup Media, not my system... So it uses the generic drivers as provided by MS...
That is not to say that you can not inject your system drivers into PESE..

Could you explain the 'Crash" as have not had any reports to the same...

The other major difference is incremental as well as differential backups but tbh I rarely use either.

Not sure if you even need to re-deploy. Windows 8/10 are really flexible. You can take an image from another PC and plug it in. Windows will start at: Getting your devices ready and re-install all the drivers.
Use: GhostBuster to delete all the orphan drivers from the old PC.
