For OP benefit.
Run Macrium Reflect,
select restore tab,
click 'fix windows boot problems'.
It will now list Windows install(s)
Click next, finish and boot sectors will be rebuilt, even creating dual boot menus as appropriate.
This facility in Macrium is basic but just works with no effort.
Kyhi has done all the hard work putting it on the iso.
Kyhi - hope you are ok (often people forget the stress on family).
Thank You C, for the program details..
I'm doing good, got the options from the Dr. about my dad..
Because of his health there are no GOOD options for my 80 year old dad..
For every treatment option there is a down side or risk because of his health..
so the only less risky option, is cemo and radiation, with the hope of destroying the cancer cells
but the problem is (and the problem I'm having is) it is the same type cancer that I seen my mother fight for 2 years before it took her life last year.. She had no quality life for those 2 years and the treatment really took a serious toll on her..
This is so tough - it brings back painful memories of my dad dying. We basically lied saying the (placebo) drugs would help as we know he only had a few weeks to live.
Just before he died, he smiled and said he knew we were lying but played along for OUR sakes. I will always treasure that moment.
PM me anytime if you just need somebody to talk to or even shout at.
Always hope for the better. My father-in-law who was diagnosed for cancer in stomach 26 years before was operated and stomach was removed. Now he is alive without stomach for last 26 years even in his 86th age.
32bit OS supports both x86 and x64 Systems
64bit OS supports x64 Systems - and may contain x64 programs - although most are 32bit programs..
32bit programs and files are smaller then x64bit programs.. Better for PE
x64 OS supports more memory use - PE uses memory - x64 pretty much common place today with 8/10
So in closing x64 better for memory use and x32bit programs are smaller - both of which are perfect for PE..
Cool little trick with Kyhi's recovery drive: take a standard Windows 10 install USB flash drive, copy the boot.wim file from \sources from Kyhi's recovery drive to the \sources on the Windows 10 install USB flash drive (overwrite the old file). Now your Windows 10 install USB flash drive will boot into Kyhi's recovery drive giving you all those utilities. If you want to install Windows 10, run setup.exe from the USB flash drive from file explorer. Bonus! Two drives in one!
