There is a method using what Kyhi already has. @simrick pointed out to me that Kyhi has PENetwork built in. It is not a shortcut on the Desktop, but under the Classic Shell Start Menu - All Programs, under Network.

    Attachment 105777

This may be preferable to the Device Manager method because it "sniffs" around and finds the Lan hardware you have and does the appropriate setup. Pretty quick.... Tray icon will change to yellow, then clear up. And you're all set to go!
Oops - sorry; used to be a shortcut on the desktop; must have changed.....haven't used it myself in a while.

Yes I read that when simrick posted that info, tried it ....it did nothing, but report can't find any network......so used your method, and that worked.

Could be because of my bios settings on this MB .....not the same as yours. Just a guess...

SFC Scannow and Dism RestoreHealth - Image Health - Repair Corrupt Files
I've been looking for a repair disk like this - thank you. I'm still in the past and trying to catchup...

Regarding: the "SFC Scannow and Dism RestoreHealth"

So we'd boot a corrupted PC to the winpese image you kindly provide. I assume it runs from the PC's memory. Then we use this program you provide for a potential fix on the bad PC? You said "will run System File Checker and DISM commands to repair an online Windows image". So I'm not sure if it's purpose is what I'm suggesting.

Sorry for my lack here. Thanks.

Image Health can be used to repair your currently booted "online" windows image.

When using WinPESE your windows image is now considered "Offline" because you are booted into WinPE OS that has been loaded into System Memory.

Do you have a stripped down version of this WinPE GUI environment

I love this tool, but we have a need to create one that we can use for forensics and add some of those tools. We don't want to load to many additional tools we just want to be able to throw in a few that we are going to use to clone drives, use explorer, maybe run some hard disk erasing program and would need network connectivity also. Do you have any versions that are stripped down that we could use and add our own tools to?

I have messed around with the WinPE tools and tried to create our own but have not been able to get it working in a GUI environment like yours, I have had to do all from the command line and some of the tools we want to add don't work as well that way. I work for a none profit organization so any help would be much appreciated.
