    Need for the Updated ISO
The original ISO lacks Hard disk checking programs and the recovery softwareand also the registry editing tool.
You could have said something like "How about adding ......", rather than what comes over as criticism.

Kyhi's tool is really super, and I know he has invested a lot of personal effort. Indeed he included some of my suggestions. In any case, it is quite easy to customise it if you try.

Any chance of hosting your ISO here on tenforums? Maybe ask John or Shawn if he's around.

looked into and was able to add Lazesoft to PE.... Next go round...
Have added several new programs as build options...
But as kinda like Superfly said, how much is to much, for general forum users...

I subscribe to http://www.topsoftbargains.com/ and get links to free or promotional software, then see if I can develop for use in PE

I am going to try and test DBAN on my customised version as I am pretty sure that runs in a winpe environment - that could be a useful tool for many users (dangerous in wrong hands perhaps). I will revert with results of my testing.

    Forgot about the hdd tool!

I use crystaldiskinfo on my customised version - seems to work fine but never tested all options in winpe environment.

PS - new version of Macrium if you missed that.

I was testing my KYHI-PE USB (v16.125) yesterday , and noticed the Macrium version too , it kept hanging/not responding as did one other program and so I am wondering if it is related to the fact I have a Intel Raid Array (1.8TB) on this system ? do I need to Customise it ?

    Thx.

It would be great to able to use HD Tune or HDDScan in your PE environment.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I missed between my first commodore 64, and my latest laptop with Windows 8.1, (upgrade to 10), several years of following up the technical terms and common solutions. To give one example: I stayed many years with my Windows XP, was satisfied, but was obligate to move to Windows 8.1
So, to keep it short: laptop don’t start up anymore, always win.efi is missing, and i cant reach in no way the repair options... only Bios, retry, and something else..
And here I landed. I bought one flash drive 64Gb, to make one repair USB i could find here from that genius KYHI, only... its seems all like Chinese...
So I decide to give also my contribution to this forum, after searching and searching what the hell PE, FAT32, ... all means.
So this is an explanation for people of the same (non) knowledge as me:
    1) Download that magnificent program, the one with 64x (that is for us, the normal pc-users)
    2) Format the harddrive/USB in Fat32.
Why?: no security, no problems, also formatting a drive in FAT32 will allow it to be read by other operating systems, such as Mac, Linux, and older versions of Windows such as Windows 98. AND: because KYHI said so many times in the topic.
How?: I found this on online-tech-tips,
Format External Hard Drive in FAT32 using DOS
Open a command window by going to Start, then Run and type in the command prompt:
    cmd
Now type in the following command at the prompt:
    format /FS:FAT32 X:
Replace the letter X with the letter of your external hard drive in Windows. Windows will go ahead and begin formatting the drive in FAT32!
If the format is taking longer than an hour, just cancel it and try the other method.
It was easy but it didn’t work. (slow and format too big), so I tried:
Format External Hard Drive in FAT32 using FAT32Format
Just open the free tool, choose the drive, the allocation unit size, give the volume a label, choose whether you want to do a quick format or not and then click Start. I would suggest not checking Quick Format so that way the entire drive is completely overwritten and you’re starting from scratch. I’ve tried this program and it was able to convert my hard drive to FAT32 without any issues. It needed more then one hour for one new empty 64Gb flash drive. So be patient.
    3) When you put your broke pc on, push F8 to open the Bios, ENABLE SecureBoot and make sure it’s on UEFI.
Why?: KYHI explains it, he knows what he is doing, and we don’t know about what the hell he is talking about. So just do, and have faith.
    4) How to put the WinPESE_x64 20160125 on your stick?
Actually, when you clear out the conversation, the designer KYHI is very clear and gives many times the way how he put this on his USB flash drive:
“I usually mount ISO then copy and paste file from ISO to USB formatted Fat32“
“I usually just copy and paste the files from ISO to USB..
My USB's are usually set (marked) as Active and formatted Fat32 (for UEFI and Legacy Support). And I never, ever have used Rufus”
So what this means in child-language?
    a) Mount ISO: Just go to the file “WinPESE_x64 20160125“, right mousse click, and you will see on top “mount”. Actually its extracting the file.
    b) Just copy all these little files, and past them on the left side in your USB flash drive
    c) Formatted Fat32, we already did this with ‘Fat32Format’
    5) Repair:
You will not believe, but i just putted in the USB, I started the laptop, it took 5 minutes, but then the laptop started to “scanning and repairing drive”.

After, when the repair will be finished, I am sure I will find lots of interesting things on this flash drive. At least, if I understood good the previous conversations in this topic.

I hope that some can and will use this. For these specialists its like driving a car, but we are still trying to ride a bicycle.....

That is a Microsoft Windows Recovery Message - Not a Message you would get from PESE....
