I agree. Bit od a puzzle that it is not being reported more often, but there we go.

Good to know I'm not alone, I get that OneDrive pop-up, too. A local account is no option for me, nor is disabling OneDrive and sync settings.

Clicking on "Turn off these OneDrive settings" did not work for you? I just clicked that during installation and it did not bother me again ever.

As far as I know that disables the sync, which as I mentioned in my previous post is not an option for me. I need OneDrive sync enabled on each computer all the time.

I have never needed to sign in to a local account. I am sure your suggestion will work, but cures only the symptom, not the cause.
I said the same thing and also agree that just the symptom being cured and not the cause.

I have tried pretty much all the alternatives of turning it off, turning sync off etc. Still there!!

Just to confirm. It does turn it off, of course - until the next boot.

This only happens in Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 9860.

Well I've seen that issue, but I do have an issue where 10, at least in VM, makes my DVD drive disappear. I've posted that elsewhere though.

I have for a long time two Windows8.1 both using the same OneDrive directory location outside user\<username> on F: partition. F: being the same letter for both Windows8.1. No problem with sync. When I have installed TP on F:-partition then the the same problem happened. OK, I've shrink F:-partition, created new one and re-installed TP. Then changed letters under TP making F being the same as for both 8.1. Pop-up have disappeared and no problems with sync at 3 OSes. At Russian forum discussing this problem it was said that this problems happens only for those who have two OSes using different OneDrive settings.
