    Windows 7 usb/dvd Download Tool

    Thanks for this forum.
I am trying to create a bootable dvd in preparation for the test install of Windows 10.
I am running Windows 7 pro 64-bit with all the updates.
Not sure if the image worked.
Here is the window I get when I run the tool:2014-10-16_094032.zip

I tried to run the download tool from the folder I installed it in.
This gave the above window. Going back to the desktop I saw an Icon
called Windows7 dvd download tool. When I executed this everything worked........

If you are wanting to use the Flash Drive to configure your system using UEFI, you might check to see if it was formatted as Fat32.

If you have a Legacy or MBR install you will probably be OK.

I haven't tried using that tool for years, and just use Diskpart or some folks recommend Rufus.

I think the tool does download and install on your system. There should be a shortcut on your Desktop to start it, if it isn't the one which produced the attached picture.

You can use: Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way to create a bootable Win10 Installation. Format it as FAT32 for compatibility as suggested above.
