CCleaner in Windows 10 - problems

I have used CCleaner for years now on Windows XP, 7 and 8 OK, but on Windows 10, CCleaner does not do anything. I have the trash bin full of files, but CCleaner does not find anything to delete. I upgraded this laptop from 7 to 10. After that CCleaner does not clean anything. No internet cache, nothing. Anyone who know why this doesn't work?

Are you using the latest version (5.9)? I'm using it without issues on 17 PC's that I have upgraded to Win10...

I upgraded from 8.1 to 10 home. CCleaner migrated just fine from 8.1 and I use it regularly. At times it will respond that it needs permission to close the Edge database to proceed. I always reply with 'yes'. The last time it asked and I responded, CCleaner crashed. I re-invoked it again and it completed successfully. I always migrate to the latest version when available.

It has worked for me on Windows 10 since build 9926.

Perhaps you should reinstall CCleaner. It definitely works on Windows 10, I've not had a single issue with it on my Windows 10 Pro 64 bit PC.

Yup! You're right. I reinstalled CCleaner, and (for some reason) it worked. Same version v5.09.5343 as an hour ago before I uninstalled and reinstalled.
