    Reinstall old MS Office

My decktop is a Dell from 2013, running W10. for the past 4-5 years have had MS Office Home & Student 2010 installed but really only use Word. Being old and not too smart I purchased a real cheap Office 365 2021 thinking it would be an improvement, not remembering that with every software update MS does things really change. So I went thru the whole uninstall process, and installed the 2021, and sure enough I would have to learn how to use Word all over again.
So my question is: can I uninstall 2021 and reinstall the 2010 as I still have the disk and product key? I am too old to start learning a new word program. Dumb move on my part should have kept thing as they were.

There should be no problem reinstalling Office 2010. However, you should give Word 2021 more time before you give up on it.

I have various versions of Office on all my computers including Office 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2019, 2021. Since I stick to mainly the basic functions in Word I don't have a problem switching between the different versions. Also, on one of my computers I use FreeOffice which is even more different.

BTW, in a few months I will be 73 and still like to learn new things.

You can certainly revert to Office 2010 but Office 2021 receives security updates whereas Office 2010 does not.

Yes, but make sure you use the full facilities of a 3rd party uninstaller like RevoUninstaller. The perfunctory offerings of Windows uninstall and/or MS Office uninstall tools NEVER do as clean a job as specialist software removal programs like Revo (freeware version is adequate)

    - download, install and run
    - select MS Office from list
    - uninstall (do NOT create a system restore point, tick/select every component listed to be removed)
    - DO NO REBOOT IF PROMPTED
    - select Advanced option button, run
    - select/tick/remove every component listed to be removed
    - reboot

    Now (re)install 2010
