    Windows Media Player corrupted

My Windows Media Player in Windows 10, Lenovo V15 laptop has corrupted itself. All my music has now disappeared, albums, etc. I ran a diagnostics troubleshooter in Control Panel which said my Media Library is corrupted.
Any way to recover my music?
    Thank you.

How do I access Menu Bar? Is it from WMP?

Since you're asking about a Media Player issue i'm obviously going to reply about Media Player.

Go to the top of the player window and right click and select Show menu bar.

    Thank you.
What could have caused this issue?

Wrong colour t-shirt selected, too many clouds, dodgy aftershave, who knows.

Your music remains where it always was.
WMP does not contain your music. WMP just makes lists of your music.

I can see you're already being guided through fixing the media library [the lists].

If your using a DRM service then you should have no problem in recovering your DRM stuff your DLC paid for.

Otherwise whichever folder you keep your music in I would check that folder first.
If your files are missing, ( like gone ) I would run a data recovery software that actually works.
As long as you do not take any actions ( like use the internet, install something new, or make a write to the drive ) then
    your data is still there.

Thanks so much. That has given me some hope. I have asked a technician to take a look at my laptop so fingers crossed. 🤞 .

A Technician is somebody that follows a set of instructions set
A Engineer is somebody who invents new ways to do #@$@!#$ stuff.
    Most engineers work as technicians.

Is the music gone? ( the files on the drive ?? )

Again if that is the case then most software recovery tools ( usually run from another OS ) could recover the files if they are recent.

If this is DRM ( copyright protected ) DLC ( you downloaded it or have playlisted to play from a service ), then all of that should be with your account.
