Could anyone in simple terms that an old man might understand, enlighten me on how to get Libre Office out of my desk top using windows 10 PC,
I downloaded it and find it too difficult to work with
Uninstall it in the usual way. If you don't know how to uninstall a program, Google can help.

Here's a really easy way and better way that de-skills this.
Get Geek Uninstaller (free).
Geek Uninstaller - the best FREE uninstaller
Just run it.
Search for e.g. Libre
..then rt click that:
Click Uninstall.
The usual uninstaller will run, then an additional scan afterwards for leftovers (ignore any restart prompts during this).
This leaves your PC clean - I always uninstall like this.
