In a few years time some will be running Windows 10 on a VM looking back with nostalgia on how much time they frittered away on this forum!
Nostalgia ain't the same as it used to be.

Why? Old cars are great but old software is junk.

Not all of it, I'm running programs from 2000 on my Win10 and Win11 such as a 2006 MahJong game, Office 2000, Office 2013, Works 9, Apple QuickTime, WordPerfect 12 [not 2012], Lotus SmartSuite 9.8 [not 98].

Microsoft Money c. 2005 is my best old program still unrivalled by newer software. It's a pity Microsoft stopped providing it.

I've had home computers since 1979 but didn't buy my first PC until January 1995. It came with DOS 6.22 and Windows for Workgroups 3.11. I disliked it so much I took Microsoft's offer and tried the Windows 95 Beta in March 1995. I continued to use the Beta until I replaced it with the Release version of Windows 95.

The only time I used DOS 6.22 and Windows for Workgroups 3.11 after that is in a virtual computer.

I was going to suggest a place to download the 'last' of Microsoft Money "just in case" but noticed it is US only:
    USMoneyDlxSunset.exe
Microsoft Money Plus Sunset Deluxe - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download
