Unable to Remove Power Automate Desktop from Task Manager Star up apps

    I don't get it.
I tried using the autoruns app to try to remove it but "Automate Desktop"
is nowhere to be found in the logon tab.
I've unchecked the 'Auto-start application in Power Automate but that does no good.
I've deleted every (so far as I know) Power Automate Desktop folder in the users folder
    but it keeps coming back.

    Any ideas????

Hi, you didn't say where this comes from or whether this is a Store app or a downloadable program.

Microsoft Power Automate Desktop For Beginners [2022] - YouTube

tells me it's a downloadable exe file.

This video seems to show how to disable so-called 'flows'... i.e. this is probably a non-trivial program which you need to learn how to use- if you wish to keep it on your system.

How to Disable or Turn off Power Automate or Flows in Power Platform Dynamics 365 - YouTube

(Unfortunately the speaker has a heavy accent).

I'm guessing here, as I've no intention of installing this - I can only hope that helps.

This is a Windows app. It was there after I reset my pc. It was there the last time I reset
But I got rid of it last time.
I don't want to disable the entry in Task manager-Startup apps.
I want it remove form the start up or uninstalled.

And thank you so much for your reply.

You didn't say you wanted it uninstalled before. It always helps if you are clear with what you want to do.

You can use an appropriate 3rd party uninstaller if you can't uninstall it in the normal way.

    And thank you again.

You can remove it with REVO Uninstaller (free). You'll find it on the "Windows Apps" tab.

    I've got it.
I didn't think to look in Apps in Windows settings. Uninstall was available for the app.

    All is well,

    Just my opinion -

Stay away from Windows UWP apps! They stink.

    FWIW.
