Paintshop Pro 2018 will not install/

    Hi all
My wifes PC has had Paintshop pro 5 installed for many years - she now wishes to install PSP 2018.
It will not install, and sites the reason that a previous copy is already in.
Fair enough, I then uninstalled PSP 5 via programs and features and tried again - no go! - still a message to say previous version in evidence.
I then used registrar registry manager to get rid of any residual leftovers PLUS ran through with Regedit. Tried again and get same message. I am aware that psp5 was via JASC originally so included that in my trys.
Is there any other uninstaller worth a go to try, should I do this via safe mode?
    Your input welcomed.
    Thanks

Hi, to thoroughly uninstall a program, as you've already uninstalled it, the trick is to REINSTALL it, then, using a 3rd party uninstaller, use that to start the uninstall. The standard uninstall is followed by the program running a scan for leftovers.

E.g. Revo Uninstaller, Geek Uninstaller (free or paid).

    Hi Guys
thanks for your comments - much appreciated. dalchina followed your suggestion with out success, but will now use Revo in future.
Bit embarrassing, in that the message received says "previous version" - this I took to mean the earlier Paintshop Pro 5 which had just been removed.
In reality the message refered to a existing paintshop pro 2018 installation on another of my PC's
(All my computers are networked) so I can only think that this is the installation refered to. When I checked with Corel, my installation licence is for 'One only'.
Anyway, thanks for your time and help
    Best regards
    C
