This App has been blocked by your system administrator

On one of my 3 Windows 11 systems, I continue to be unable to run any of the Microsoft Store apps such as notepad, scan, calc, etc., including the Store app itself and instead get the following message - "This App has been blocked by your system administrator". I've spent many hours and visited many websites in an attempt to diagnose and resolve this problem - with no luck ! I've tried many suggestions posted on various websites with no positive results. I've uninstalled all of the Microsoft Store Apps and reinstalled them and still get the same message. Is there a comprehensive list of flags, settings (registry, for example), file properties, security policies, etc. listed anywhere that, if set, would cause this message to be issued, resulting in failure to start any of the aforementioned Store apps. I want to avoid reinstalling Windows from scratch - some not-so-obvious setting/policy is not allowing these apps from running. BTW, I am running Windows 11 21H2 (OS Build 22000.739). Any help would be appreciated. One last idea - are there any tracing capabilities that would log/trace the path from clicking on the app through to the point of failure ?

    One possibility:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/tro...art-store-apps

Have you tried reviewing configured group policies using the filter in the Group Policy Editor?

    Try this one:

This App has been blocked by your system administrator-2.jpg

It's in policies, Admin templates, Windows components, App runtime

I've returned from a two week vacation and no magic genie came to fix my problem. I've checked the policy setting mentioned by dalchina and it is 'not configured', so onto a different attempt. One thing that I discovered when reviewing the event log was that everytime I bring Windows up, five event id 1125 entries show, indicating some sort of group policy internal error.

Hi, there is a notable difference between group policies set by changing the registry, and the way that's recorded and set by the group policy editor.

Further, it's not evident that you're using Pro. Could you please clarify which you are using?

    This
Reset Local Group Policy Editor Settings to Default in Windows 10
only resets those policies changed using the group policy editor- which is not included in Home.

    Further, you say you

Are you using a [std/Admin] user account that you have created or are you using the normally-disabled Built-in Admin?

OOOPS, I'l move over to the Windows 11 site. However, I am running Windows 11 Pro and I am using a standard administrator account - not the built-in one.

Ok- you can try the tutorial I quoted- should work- to reset group policies to default just to eliminate that possibility..
There may be the equivalent up on elevenforum ...
