    Windows Application not Opening after upgrading to Windows 10

    Windows Application not Opening after upgrading to Windows 10. Other Applications work but this Application is no longer working after I made an upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I have tried clean Windows 10 install but the problem is still there. VMPP for Maya is the name of the Application.
    From event viewer, it looks like it is crashing before it even opens.
    The error information I see is:
    Application: VMPPmaya.exe
    Framework Version: v4.0.30319
    Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
    Exception Info: System.InvalidProgramException
    Stack:
    at VMPPmaya.App.Main()

    Any help would be appreciated and please let me know if you need any dump file and where I can get the dump file. This App worked on Windows 7 but NOT on Windows 10.

    Looking up the error in the logs was the right thing to do.

    Your error System.InvalidProgramException is described at InvalidProgramException Class (System)

    I currently don't know what you could do to solve that.

    Maybe it helps to run VMPPmaya.exe in compatibility mode with Windows 7?

    If that does not help, you might want to contact the developer of VMPP for Maya in his forum at SIGER STUDIO Support Forum :: Category Index and post this bugreport there! :)

    I already tied to run it with Compatibility mode with Windows 7 and others but it did not work. The software itself is old and has NOT been updated for years. Although, it works on Windows 7. It is one of those software that you pay a lot just to upgrade and I don't want that. Is there any other solution other than contacting customer support?
