SFC scan result - need online or offline repair?

I finished an "SFC /scannow" scan and got the following message. My question is if the corrupt files have been repaired, why does the message mention online and offline repairs? Are there corrupted files not yet repaired?

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.
For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at
windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline
repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.

It appears that there WERE corrupt files and they were repaired successfully. If you want just the SFC Report, then run the following Command in a Command Prompt . . .

findstr /C:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log > "%UserProfile%\Desktop\SFC_Details.log"

This will create a SFC_Details.log file on the Desktop.

If you have Relocated your desktop, then obviously change the above Command accordingly.

The 1st sentence tells you things were fixed.

The others tell you where to go to see what was done.

Feel free to run the check again if you wish. Note this only deals with the integrity of system files. It does not mean, for example, that your file system is not corrupt, or that your physical disk is ok, and tells you nothing about other partitions or areas on your disk.

Different checks do different things.
