Thanks. Both programs are worth having.

What is wrong with Speccy? It works perfectly for me in Windows 10.

Speccy - Incompatible with build 10525 I have had problems with it in RTM build 10240 too though, and not just me either(see thread).

OK, I see. I am using the stock Windows 10 Home Edition, RTM, and there is no problems here.

Good to know, that pretty much tells me that it "could" be something in my hardware/software configuration... note it did wok well for me too, until the latest round of Win10 updates.

    Hi folks

Program I'm using --100% OK with W10 - including latest build.

My main reason for choosing it over all the other one's people have mentioned is I wanted the possibility of a Batch Logging file .

If your computer gives random wild shutdowns at un predictable intervals you don't want to be stuck looking at the screen all the time. waiting for the event to happen.

    Cheers

Running some benchmark programs and passing them without problems leaves any error to be searched for on SW side. Every time I make some HW change I run a benchmark for that part to make sure it's working properly, that leaves only SW to contend with.

Not really dumb, because I personally never heard of it(I don't need it, but now can recommend it) other newbies though. could use it, to fill in their system specs, as an alternative to speccy(we should be supporting our forums coders/devs where possible). Can you edit your first post and provide a link, so people won't have to search all over?
I apologize folk's I just logged in today as I have been busy with family matters. Thanks you guys for taking care of the post while I was else where I really didn't think it would get much attention. topgundcp thank's for the link, and it works just the same for windows 10. I like it cause I'm a lazy when it comes to typing and it's nice to have a program that has the information laid out for you plus copy buttons built-in so you can paste it in your profile specs. :)

Thanks topgun! I wanted something after speccy farted and BSOD'd my system. I already have most of the information, but... you know, something that calls up data like this, is better than scrolling through System Information in Admin Tools.
The latest version of Speccy works fine for me... are you sure you tried the latest version?
