has anyone found any use for cortana ?

I have two ASUS computers one a G73JH with ATI Graphic board and a G73SW with a NVIDA Graphic board .
The G73JH Cortana the CPU in task manger 64.2 mb memory use the G73SW 31.7 mb memory use.
Why the difference?

Seems the G73JH has now dropped to around 28.1mb So i guess it's just always running and changing it's memory use.

So I guess most of us agree that this is a toy rather than a tool.
I am a (very) frequent traveller. I don't think anyone would appreciate me talking to my computer to set an appointment in a full lounge at the airport???
Nearly all my appointments are set on the (blackberry) phone anyway.
I don't need to share with the whole world when I am having a dinner appointment, nor does the NSA need to know with whom.

Maybe in about 25 years we do have computers, shaped as humans to have sex with, but for now I highly reccomend to leave the computer and pay attention to your wife or girl if you want to have sex, Apperntly a man behind a computer screen is not really a turn on for most women. :)

Cortana is switched off.... and will remain off until she can read my thoughts and put those into action.

I am always amazed to see all these people, walking around in stores sitting on machines at the gym at stop signs and red lights,just glued to their phones and tablets. Yes i have also seen them talking to the screens.

I posted a screenshot of my Task Manager in my first post (post #12). She's not there. Plus, my taskbar search doesn't work (not that I care about that; I've been keeping it hidden from view anyway, even before I disabled Cortana). NTFS permissions can prevent her from running; no need to delete anything:

As you can see, ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES, SYSTEM, and TrustedInstaller are denied everything. The rest of the users/groups in that list are human, so you don't have to do anything with those. I also renamed the folder by adding ".bak" to the end of it, but that was just an added measure. Cortana wasn't able to run even before I did that.
