I got a problem too. Hopefully someone can help me out

I can open the Windows Store, but the "Free" button to download the apps are all greyed over.

My Time zone is set correctly to UTC -5 (Eastern Time US)
Can you post a screen shot of your "free button greyed out".

Here's how you can grab a screen shot that shows the issue and attach it to a new post.

Hi. Did a full power-down/shutdown - restarted - and still cannot delete the user folder left over from the deleted account.

    Bummer.

Looks like I need to consider a Reset your PC. But I'm a bit worried about doing this, too, as some have reported their problems have gotten worse after doing so....

    Stumped.

If you have a separate install media, such as a USB, you could do a clean install. Just backup all your libraries, get any drivers you need that 10 doesn't have, if you have any 3rd party installers, back them up too. Very important: software that requires a key(such as Pro versions) should have the codes saved to a file with notepad or word for easy access. Then do your clean install. Just remember during and after installation: Do not enter the Windows activation key, just skip>skip>do this later... Windows will automatically activate, when you go online, and it connects with the servers. Just go to settings>Update and Security>Activation.

If you have a 3rd party Anti-Virus program, do a complete uninstall before starting a clean install of Windows 10. Use an uninstall tool if one is available.
I have been using Windows Defender and it works well with Windows 10. (thanks for posting Cliff)

No problem David:). Reinstalls are drastic, but after the being in the insider program from October till Build 10240, I have installs down to a science now.

What would be the best option:

    1) Use the Settings>Update & Security > Recovery > Reset the PC option
    2) Use the media creator to create an ISO and then bootable DVD and perform a "repair"
    3) Use the media creator to create an ISO and then a bootable DVD and reinstall
    4) Use the media creator to "upgrade" this PC - basically upgrading the Windows 10 to Windows 10

    Hello stocktiki,

Do you have your files, photos and documents backed up? Because I have everything backed up on my EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE, I chose to do a clean install using this tutorial.

    Windows 10 - Clean Install

This might not be the best option for you. Wait and let Cliff S. reply. He has a lot more experience than me.
It looks like he is offline, be patient.
