Weather app from Windows 10 (1507) is not working today (Aug 15 '23)

Hello TenForums, I have something to tell you.
Why isn't the Weather app from Windows 10 (1507) even working?
This is version (4.3.193.0) used in this Windows 10 version.
I tried to use the Microsoft Store, but it just said an error. Not even an update message popped up. I updated Windows, but same thing. Both Weather and Store errors.
I found the API and the app's issue.
Can somebody give me a fix for this kind of issue?
What to fix: The app, the servers for forecast, historical weather, maps, places and news etc.
And please share this with everyone. Thank you.
Versions used:
Main: 22H2 (Build 19045.3324)
VM: 1507 (Build 10240.0, in VMware)
Fun fact: The Live tiles still work in any size! (Details in attachments).

To clarify:
Windows 10 1507 was discontinued on May 9 2017.
And my laptop has Windows 10 22H2, so no complaints about upgrading.

Someone asked a while back, if they could revert the Weather App to the version from a few months back. I found while you could re-install the older app, it no longer works with the servers to download data.

So the last supported Weather App for 1507 will be way out of date.

What's next then? If I use the latest version, It's not worth it and my time, since it's inside a webpage instead of an app, and it has ads and news.

If you don't like it, pick a different Weather app. MS switched the API, so there's nothing you can do to fix the old client, and the new app is a different design hated by many users.

You're right! Some are good some are bad. That's fine with me.

I might have found something for Windows 8.1.
But it may/not work. Also, the file wasn't even found anymore yet.

It's in German, so try to speak English as you can.

I'm one of those who happy uses Igogo's gadget apps and about a month ago his weather app stopped and started reporting a data receiving error.

Apparently the provider AccuWeather got hacked some time in September but also evidently they stopped providing XML data streams from the server or perhaps even changed the API.

There are several weather apps and gadgets out there that no longer work.

I'm trying to get a competent answer from support@AccuWeather.com but so far got the inanest from the inane and irrelevant replies! I might as well ask them what rat poison should I use for the rabbits in my garden...
