    Windows Store Apps Not Updating

    Greetings tenforums,

I have recently encountered a problem with the updates on the Windows Store. The apps are not updating anymore and are stuck. I have tried to follow most of the methods provided online including the troubleshoot step but to no avail. The troubleshoot simply couldn't find any issues to solve. Windows Update on the other hand, is working fine. Here's a screenshot of the progress.

I'm having the same problem. None of the troubleshooting steps that I've found have worked.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. Hopefully there is a fix underway somehow. Are your mail and calendar apps working?, they are also dead and fail to load for me. They both just get stuck at the loading page and stay that way.

Hello Scar and Moofey, and welcome to Ten Forums.

If you have not already, see if doing both parts in the tutorial below may be able to help. It's the same in Windows 10. :)

Greetings Brink and thank you for your response!,

I have tried that method before starting this thread as I constantly searched and tried various methods, sadly none helped.

Just tried it myself as well. Didn't work aside from making me look at a blank screen for 5 minutes after logging in.

Okay, I just tried method #2 again and it worked!. It's updating and the mail and calendar apps both finally work. Thank you very much!. I've been using this site since the vistax64 days for each version of Windows and the community are second to none.

Hope you find a fix Moofey.

I do have indications of progress though. My downloads are no longer just hanging at "pending," but they just sit there at "0.0 MB downloaded" now.

That's the same problem I had, Method #2 in the link above fixed it after a reboot.

Sorry to further bother you Brink. But what could have been the problem to this seeing how problem #2 solved it. I don't want to run into this chaos again so I'd love to know.

    Thanks a lot once again.
