    I am not using OneDrive.

Let me put it this way: When I loose my files, then I also want to be the one who had the fun to delete them!

My tracks seem to have stayed on onedrive since have returned them from the recycle bin of terror HOWEVER, I'm fairly sure its because I turned off keeping them only on onedrive, since I have left them on my machine as well, they seem to be keeping in situe with no problem, This is not what I wanted. I want to keep them on onedrive and get them from any device at 4g or better, in order to be able to listen to any of my tracks or edit any doc worldwide, Perhaps its asking to much OR more likely, win 10 has had a massive negative effect on onedrive and we all have to weather this out, we shall see!!, either way am going to get a separate online drive

This also happened to me. Onedrive told me login again. When I did my onedrive folder was empty. I was able to these file from the recycle bin. Don't trust Microsoft onedrive. This has never happened to me in Google drive or Dropbox.

Youse all can also use Macrium Reflect, use one or two giant external usb-connected platter-clatters, use 'em to make locally-held backups. Just make sure to never "sync" the backup/restore ext HDs.

You can also store mp3 (Make sure they are legal) in another folder on your computer. It shouldn't get deleted.

Have you resolved the One Drive issue?

Looks like M$ has again "appropriated" a good idea, then implemented it badly. I don't use One-Drive, but I'll be sure to remove it. I have way too many mp3s to take a chance. Probably should revert to local account too.

Onedrive deleted all my files-billborg.png[/QUOTE ] LOL by the way this was hilarious, so yes use a local account for home PC's and try to avoid pirated music and games with Win 10, in the long run this new route will save you so, there you have it, lastly 1 Drive is fine as long as you careful about what might be seen a nefarious files just zip it up if you choose to store the documents to One drive :)

    Mine have just vanished too...

    • 30 July, all files there
    • 31 July
      • Old PC - All fiels there
      • Setup new PC - All files gone, except the "Documents, Desktop" etc folder (mostly empty) from new PC

I rush to OneDrive.Live.com, only to find it reflects new CP

    • Checked OneDrive recycle bin, and only files from <=30 July (which delted myself) are there.

Literally EVERYTHING IS GONE. Entire MP3 collection, Photos, Videos (family). Documents. Everything!!!! In contact with Microsoft, after first telling me to check the OneDrive Recycle Bin (and teaching me how to use OneDrive search), which i said in my initial email i had done, theyre now asking for examples of some specifically missing files.

    I have no words!!
