Running this program to keep track of data usage,problem is If I forget to shutdown this program before windows shutdown all data is not saved. You have to close the app before windows shutdown to save the data. How can I force this program to shutdown before windows shutdown?
What version Networx are you using? I am using 5.5.5x64 portable and the data is saved when I shutdown my computer with out shutting down Networx first. I have data from 10/08/2001 when I first started using it.
Using 6.2.3 portable,will not save unless I close the program before shutdown.
This is very strange, seems too be working now. Not sure what happened and why it is working now. Will keep close eye on it for couple days.
Still not working right ? need a way to close this app running from a usb drive before pc shutdown.
That would explain it, Windows shuts down, basically crashing the app.

By the way, Networx is not free, try NetTraffic to see, if it suffers from the same problem.Code:taskkill /im networx.exe
You can also use NetworkUsageView, which uses Windows data, and then filter it.

Where would I run the taskkill at?
Type it into command prompt or Start - Run. If it helps, you can create a shortcut to taskill and shutdown PC.
Why not put the program on your computer and run it from there instead of using a USB drive?
