    MS office issues

After upgrading to Windows 10, I cannot save an excel file. They now open as read-only. When I try to "save as", it says I do not have permission and to ask the Administrator for approval...I AM the administrator, and I checked to make sure that I still was.

    Thoughts?

Does this affect a certain file? For example, you've already made a file and open it in Excel, but when you save it, it says that it is read only. Or can you not save even new files? For example, you open Excel, enter some information, then try to save, but it gives you an error. The exact error message would be helpful.

If this affects all files in a certain folder or drive, then this might be an issue with NTFS permissions. This can e.g. happen when you use an external harddrive, which has initially been formatted and used with another PC or user account.
