Hello I have had Windows 10 since it was first released.
I have had Windows 10 activated on several devices and recently with my laptop dying I built a new pc with all new hardware.

win key/L....select account..enter pw....get black screen with cursor.
ctrl/alt/delete does nothing and suggestions i've tried do nothing.
very annoying

17 to be exact so far today.

I have cleared the software dist. folder numerous times...ran wuauclt.exe/updatenow and everytime it fails.

Hmmm...does that mean I need to re-install 7 and start over making a w 10 iso disk after I install 10 and its activated?

Laptop had 8.1 home.....desktop had 7 home
