Can't get the update to install.

Hasn't fixed it yet.

Cortana Search stopped working and I was able to pinpoint what caused it.

Something called COM Surrogate became unresponsive.

Went to my second admin account and the taskbar, start menu, and cortana works fine.

Ran perfmon /rel in order to see what caused the problems for my other account and here's what I found:

When I log into my PC, the taskbar works for a few seconds then it stops being responsive. I can't click on anything on the taskbar and pressing on the windows key on my keyboard doesn't bring up...

Update: The Cortana Search lasted for about an hour or so and it switched back to old habits...

A new thing now is when I try to double click on .mp4 files this shows up:

Doing a manual install seems to do the trick for a lot of people.
