I just checked. There is no English (UK), but there is an English (GB)
The Teamviewer service is your problem. If you disable it it will sleep normally.
Most of the people who have this problem are exactly because of Teamviewer service.
There are many topics on the subject, just search the forum.
But the first thing to check is (in cmd) :
powercfg /waketimers
Check here aswell :
Settings -> Personalisation -> Start -> Use start full screen
Set to Off
Or just open start menu and start typing - 'system'. One of the results will be System information (desktop app)
The language in which the upgrade is depends on the regional settings. So if you are with regional settings for English it will be upgraded to that. But if they are Spanish then the upgrade will be...
Here it is :
How To Automatically Login In Windows 10
But if you are buying a Dell computer and the OS is preinstalled on it, then it is already OEM.
If it offers an upgrade option - yes try it. It should keep old settings and files.
But still depends if you need anything or not.
Just skip it and don't enter any key. You say you've upgraded and used it for several hours. It will activate.
It will not work if you just copy the .iso to the flash drive.
Download the media creation tool from this link :
Windows 10
And follow the instructions. On the first prompt choose 'Create...
I don't understand Swedish, but the message you get looks like a No boot device.
How did you download the iso exactly ? Did you just copy the file to the flash drive or made it bootable with the...
If your sound goes through the HDMI port then it could also be the video driver as it install an audio device for the hdmi.
Yes my UAC is off and Edge works fine. I don't use the Mail app, but I tested it and it starts.
What is irritating is that by default when opening command prompt it always starts with limited...
The 'Allow wake timers' option is bugged or at least it was yesterday prior to SR1.
Even if you set it to disabled it still allows wake timers, so check in command prompt with :
powercfg...
It is the teamviewer service. If you disable it will be good.
The bug is that this setting doesn't work. Even if the setting is wake timers disabled it still wakes up.
To disable the service you...
Yes it probably is integrated. But even then it is still a graphic card and needs a driver.
Transparent effects are only used in start menu, taskbar and action center.
He already reverted to Windows 8.1
But why everyone gives up so fast and easy. That is quite the generic name for a graphic card, it could be any model. And it could be quite old and that is why no...
I have a similar problem, but maybe not exactly the same.
RDP works very good, but If I open some video or game it works good for around 15 seconds and then gets very laggy until I stop the video or...
Thank you for that mkdr. I did not think to check /waketimers because I have disabled Allow wake timers in Power options.
That fixed it because I had a waketimer from Teamviewer.
So I guess this...
A lot of topics on this subject so it is a real problem. But don't be so fast to propose just turning off wake on lan. Some of us are actually using it. And using it with older versions of Windows....
Mine still wakes. I hoped that I fixed it with the article from my previous post. Event viewer and powercfg say the reason for the wake is unknown. I need the wake up by network and I selected wake...
I have the same problem, but it is not the network card. When I check the reason for the wake it says unknown.
I have found this and done it, but I will find if it is working tonight :
Windows 8...
