Yes--I reverted back to 8.1. If you go into the Settings from the Start Menu-->Update and recovery-->choose recovery on the left hand side and the middle option I believe is to go back to 8.1

Revert back to 8.1, uninstall, re-upgrade. You'll be fine.
My suggestion--don't be an early adopter if you have something important to finish like a thesis. ;)
Revert back to 8.1, you will be able to uninstall the Cisco VPN client successfully--then re-upgrade and everything should work.
Bingo--that did it. No big deal!
I have an older version of the Cisco VPN client as well...reverting to 8.1 and removing and then going back to 10...will post results.
