It works in Built in Administrator, but it wont let me use Microsoft Edge.
Well without even trying the Built-In Administrator, the computer froze before even logging in to any account for that matter which leaves me to believe it is a hardware issue.
Okay give me awhile to check this out. May be a few days before I can get back to you. Thanks thus far!
Tried that already and did not work.
Nothing wrong...except recently it froze on the login screen to windows after turning it on. So, this is completely separate from the browser/network.
Okay I will try this when I get the chance.
Edit: I appreciate your help thus far by the way.
So, just unplug my modem. Plug it back in?
Dont know how to turn off the gateway....no other compurers are experiencing the same issue at the business. I said it happens on all browsers.
It is a brand new install.....there is no previous OS because I installed from a USB on the new hard drive.
Just updated to Windows 10 on a brand new hard drive because the old one with Windows 7 was going bad. It was compatible and everything was fine. This has been absolute hell for my business when I...
The freezing seems to be occurring within 5-10 minutes of using the Internet after the computer boots up (enter password).
Computer has frozen twice this morning, so no fix.
Okay I changed that option and we will see what happens. I will respond with results.
I don't have that kind of time because it is a business computer, my dad's main computer he uses. I really don't think it has anything to do with the CPU, RAM or GPU. They all worked fine on Windows...
1. Stress Test of CPU had no errors on both cores. I let is pass over 5 times for that.
2. GPU test I was unsure of what to look for hahaha, but it seemed to go fine? Here is an image.

3....
I am still freezing up same way, through the browsers at random times, doesn't matter what website.
Okay sounds good. I will try it and post back here what the results are.
Can you please make your own post and not post on my thread.........
I went to install the VGA driver but it said, you are about to install drivers that were older than the ones already installed....
Okay I will try that out.
I think only the Intel Management Engine driver because that was one of the ones that had a caution sign on it right after I installed Windows 10.
Going through the Device Manager the first time, I just updated the ones that had little cautions by them which was only 1. However, now I am going through every single one and clicking update just...
Yes, I believe I installed all the drivers. How can I check to make sure I got everything?
Specs have now been filled out. Sorry about that!
I installed Windows 10 fine on a computer that had Windows 7, clean install on a brand new hard drive. After the clean install, I made sure drivers were up to date and what not. Everything works...
