The other is SearchIndexer.exe.

I don't use dell, I have a custom built PC that I made myself. Can I run procmon on boot? It always writes a new file on boot in the storage folder so that's a guaranteed way to catch it.
Randomly popped up on my C:\ drive on the 12th of October and writes a new file upon every login, it has numerous .db entries on different dates all with storage.07961.001and only the last two...
I also have this folder on my PC, only started generating itself the 18th of the month, what is it?
I have no idea if it's driver related or not because I can't figure out how to read this trace.
Specs are i7 3970x, intel 520 ssd as main drive, Samsung 850 evo SSD as backup drive and a seagate...
I use an SSD though and my drive speeds are fantastic, makes no sense that it would just go from 8 seconds bootup on 1607 to 55+ seconds on 1903.
So I ran the toolkit and I cannot understand what is causing this, I ran the windows performance toolkit but I have no idea how to read the results, from what I can see the delay is coming in the...
How can I figure out what the results mean once I have ran the toolkit?
I have recently updated from 1607 and my boot time was consistently 10 seconds, every single time without fail.
Since updating to 1903 my boot time is now 55 seconds and I am getting errors in...
Ok, so I finally got around to doing the in-place upgrade, here's how it went.
The issues still remain, mouse acceleration that cannot be removed, even with third party tools, 1440p support broken...
Thanks guys, will make a full disk backup on an external first just to be on the safe side using macrium and then will try to rollback with windows if the issues still remain on 1903 after using the...
So there is no way to rollback with this method using windows recovery? I have no problems using macrium as an insurance policy anyway but would prefer if I could rollback without if that makes sense.
I am currently on 1607 but using the upgrade assistant is causing all sorts of problems with windows once 1903 installs (screen blur, mouse acceleration issues and a host of other stuff that isn't a...
I think I have figured out the issue, one of the pipes on my h100i cooler has faulted and whilst the temperatures on the chip are stable, the ambient case temp and pump temp was getting rather high...
No worries Axe, no need to apologise, yes I am still in need of help if that's ok?

Hi everyone,
Ok so these are the steps I have taken so far, since last week I have been getting BSOD's out the rear end, basically for the last week I have been getting BSOD's originally it was...
Right quick update, after the absolute day from hell with this PC, I have somehow managed to use my 30+ years of experience to actually not mess something up for once haha.
After the utterly...
Ok I have severely screwed up now, followed the guide for windows clean install and created a a boot USB, deleted the two partitions on my main drive (left my other two hard drives as they have the...
This is what mine shows... (replaced name with username)
I can't even use the command for the bing weather, it just tells me the file isn't found.
Shall I just give up and reinstall...
When I try to access the properties of this folder in security it says under the security tab "You must have read permissions to view properties of this object, click advanced to continue"
So I...
Just started getting "The recycle bin on c:\ is corrupt" again, to hell with it, I am doing a clean install, seems like more work than it needs to be trying to fix things.
Well basically this is the situation now, I used the media creation tool, everything is back to how it was now, the search bar is working again HOWEVER I have noticed that all the windows apps are...
Going to attempt it now using media creation tool, wish me luck. Is it probably best to back all my files up with something like easetodo before hand on a seperate hard drive?
Unfortunately there was no restore points despite the fact that I only made one the day before and there was none before that either.
Could I try and use media creation tool tto possibly fix it?
