My 3x fans are hooked to the mobo, and being run on that i could move two of them to my pc case's manual controller but i dont necessarily want to id i dont have to.

Just yesterday when i changed my pc case out, i noticed my fans spinning a lot faster than usual, i checked my windows task manager and noticed a "Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation" adding a 15%...

Turns out that all i had to do was run a trainer, which promted norton. This action told windows defender to turn off becuase there was already an AV program.

okay but how do i turn windows defender off?, i cant use services

Windows defender turned on when i didnt need or want it to. there Isn't a turn off button other than in gpedit.msc.
win+r to run gpedit.msc, says it cant find it. I even looked where the msc should...

I had the same problem although after a few days and maybe a windows update it was fixed. i was told id have to do a repair install which would delete things.

by registry editing what do you mean?

two things.
1: i havent read into it much but will repair install is done would i loose all my stuff i:e games, pictures etc
2: are you sure there isnt something wrong with my windows services...

i cant even turn it on because to do that you need to click on the magnifying glass, and surprise nothing happens so i cant exactly turn cortana on (no pun intended) and windows+s does nothing either

i swear, i right click the start button i get whats in post #11 and when i click on it nothing

as i said twice now (not getting an attitude just saying) clicking on that does nothing

i did activate cortana then im not sure what happend but i either did or attempted to get rid of her, also that search says for windows and web, and when i click on it nothing happens either

not sure by what you mean with cortana, and if i right click the start button 'search' isnt on the list. or maybe im missing something?

It used to be that i was able to hit the windows key and start typing in things but i cant do it anymore.. i have to find it through the 'all apps' and the program im trying to find isn't in there...
